2) Romanian and German version: toacã/ Klopfbrett is a wooden board used as kind of clock (e.g. in monastaries)
3) German version:line 4 "salcâm" is acacia, locust tree;
lines 7/8: a closer translation could be: "'s ist von Sehnsucht die Brust, die Stirn von Gedanken dir schwer"
4) German version line 11: "Knarrend im Wind schlenkert der Schwengel die Bürde" - Schwengel/cumpãnã: handle of the fountain.
5) The English version is lacking the 3rd stanza!
